Research interests
I am interested in various problems of fluid dynamics where nonlinear dynamics plays a crucial role. This covers various areas from superfluid models to interfacial flows and granular systems. The recent problems I have been working on are droplet impacts, Rayleigh-Taylor instability, moving contact lines in a porous medium, weak turbulence in wavy systems and shear flow models for grains, for instance.
I use mostly numerical simulation and analytical approaches for the study of these problems. Intensive computations are sometimes needed, as well as the development of parallel numerical techniques.
