Research interests
I am interested in various problems of aerodynamics, meteorology, aeroacoustics, interfacial flows and magnetohydrodynamics. I am currently working on
- the three-dimensional dynamics of multiple vortices with axial jet;
- the viscous instabilities of vortices;
- the dynamics of tilted vortices in a stratified fluid;
- the acoustic field generation by transonic instability waves;
- the collapse of cavity and the formation of capillary jets;
- the effect of a magnetic field on the elliptic instability in a sphere.
I mainly use analytical techniques and numerical simulations. But these problems are also studied by experiments in my laboratory.
